Reell hinges offer various sizes and materials to fit a range of applications. Use our calculators to determine which hinge works best for you, or reach out to ask any questions. If we don’t have the exact hinge needed for your weight requirements, Reell also offers custom hinges to match your exact application.

Reell friction hinges use our patented ReellTorq® clip technology to provide consistent, long-life, zero-adjustment performance of up to 50,000 cycles. Our long-lasting products ensure you get the performance and lifecycle necessary for your most reliable application.

While Reell offers a full catalog of hinges and parts that work for a variety of unique applications, we also offer custom solutions. There are 3 different options we have to accommodate your project needs.

1. Select one of Reell's standard friction hinges or torque inserts for your application.

2. If a product doesn't quite meet your requirements, Reell can adapt a standard product, leveraging existing tooling and production lines.

3. For higher volume applications Reell can create an entirely custom position control solution. 
   

If you see a Reell part that is close to your application requirements but doesn't quite meet your requirements or have a unique set of requirements not met by our current offering, contact Reell to discuss a potential custom solution.  Standard products have lower minimimums and shorter lead times, but a custom solution may be the right solution.

Calculations and analysis can determine a torque value, but Reell knows there is no substitute for trying the part in your application. That’s why we offer free evaluation samples to confirm the Reell hinge provides the smooth motion and reliable position control you expect in your design.
