Reell offers a variety of flag style friction hinges. The RT product line, available in 5 different sizes and each with a range of torque options, is available with a variety of different shaft ends to adapt to your mounting requirements. Other product lines in this family offer a broad range of torque profiles, mounting options, and sizes, each with a full 360° of rotation.

Reell’s unique torque inserts press into assemblies to internalize the torque element, creating a clean aesthetic design with no surface mounted hardware.

Reell offer 3 different Torque Insert families to meet different application requirements:

• TI100 Series: available in 5 different sizes, are overmolded torque inserts, each with a range of torque options, similar to our MH hinges that work well for plastic and cast assemblies.
• TI200 Series: available in 2 different sizes, enable designers to overmold the insert directly into their assemblies, especially cost effective for high volume, molded applications.
• TI300 Series: available in 4 different sizes, are our most basic design and work well for metal assemblies due to their simple, circular mounting port.

Reell’s hollow shaft products allow wire and tubing to pass through the center, ensuring smooth motion and cleaner designs.

Available in two different sizes, each with its own unique mounting method, Reell’s hollow shaft options with industry leading torque density provide an single component to add position control to rotating bases and articulating arms.

Reell’s SJ products use SphericalTorq^TM technology to offer position control in multiple directions and 360° rotation within a single product.

By creating a torque element around a sphere instead of the traditional shaft found in our other products, Reell’s SJ products, available in 3 sizes, allow for multi-directional positioning about a single point. The compact design and multi-axis feature can replace multiple components and simplify your overall design.

Reell’s multi-axis hinges offer multiple axes of rotation to enable position control and full fold-over functionality.

Reell’s monitor mounts offer ReellTorqTM in several VESA pattern compatible products for smooth and consistent monitor positioning.

Reell vTilt and vMX provide smooth, premium feel and precise, set-and-forget positioning for VESA-mounted displays without knobs or locks, combining long-life, consistent torque performance with easy direct integration to standard monitor hole patterns.

Reell’s electric wrap spring clutches provide precise, electrically controlled engagement and disengagement of torque for precise positioning.

These products deliver high torque in a compact package with fast, highly repeatable electric engagement, making them well-suited for precision timing and intermittent motion applications where consistent performance, low power consumption, and long service life over millions of cycles are critical; Reell’s wrap-spring design minimizes wear-related timing variation and is available in long-life configurations for demanding duty cycles.

All Reell slip devices provide an in-line constant torque, which increases the life of clutch components by reducing the engagement shock due to inertia.

They can also be used for overload protection where component safety is a concern. They offer long life and consistent, repeatable performance in a small package.
