When A-dec set out to design the 500 stool they had three goals: increased comfort, improved ergonomics and enhanced styling. Reell TI-200 Torque Inserts helped them to achieve all three.
Most existing stools use a spring to hold the backrest in place, which requires the dentist to readjust it each time they sit down. By solidly holding the backrest at the angle it was last adjusted to, the TI-200 Series insert eliminates more than 20 manual adjustments per day.
The compact footprint and integrated nature of the TI-200 allows for a design which moves the backrest forward and down to provide critical low lumbar support as dentists lean forward during dental procedures.
The quiet operation and smooth feel adjustment of the TI-200 also contribute to the quality of the A-dec 500 and help to make it one of the premier dental stools on the market.
