For designs that want a hidden torque option at the point of rotation, TI140 torque inserts offer a simple press in design that moves from a visible surface mount to hidden, internally mounted option directly inline with the axis of rotation.
Both the surface mount RT family, available in 5 different sizes, or an internally pressed torque insert, available multiple shapes and sizes, provide a smooth feel and precise positioning without any spring back – position the light exactly where you want it and let go. With no spring back in Reell products the light stays exactly where you put it. In addition, Reell products securely hold in position regardless of the timeframe between adjustments or the total length of time. Reell accomplishes the secure hold over time without the need for any secondary locking mechanisms, This eliminates component to reduce cost and speeds assembly for the operator by eliminating a step or the use of tools.
Simple, easy to adapt positioning of lightbars and wall wash fixtures can be accomplished with standard torque hinges from Reell. Consider the PHL, a zinc hinge available with a black finish, or one of the 5 different sizes in the MH family, available in black, glass filled nylon. These surface mount hinges are straightforward to install between the light and mounting brackets.
