The Reell MH15 friction hinge holds doors, covers, lids, and hatches solidly in position, while it's unique differential torque design allows for easy opening. With the highest available torque in it's package size (up to 8 N-m), it has the strength needed to work in your large applications

Saint Paul, MN (PRWEB) July 08, 2011

Reell Precision Manufacturing, a world leader in small package position control, is proud to announce the introduction of it's latest positioning innovation, the MH15 friction hinge.

Designed and manufactured in America to the industry's most demanding torque specifications, the MH15 provides consistent solid positioning, easy adjustment, and an elegant smooth quality motion you can feel.

The MH15 is available with up to 8.0 N-m of torque in a standard door hinge configuration, and it's glass-filled nylon housing protects delicate internal components from harsh environments. It is rated to a consistent life of over 20,000 cycles,

For vertical mounting applications, the MH15 is available with a differential torque design that reduces the torque in the opening direction to 60% of that in the closing direction. This allows for easy upward adjustment without compromising holding force in the downward direction. For horizontal mounting applications the MH15 is also available in a traditional symmetric torque configuration.

The MH15 is available now. Contact Reell for more information and request a sample.
