Computer monitors, screens, tablets, and phones. Today’s work area, whether at home or in the office, contains many different electronic devices with screens. Adjustability, for both better viewing and for ergonomics, is a key feature in office design. Reell provides office equipment and electronics designers multiple solutions to create easy to adjust mounts and stands for a wide range of electronic devices and screens.
Reell’s vTilt provides a ready to use solution for computer monitor mounts, allowing adjustability in the vertical and horizontal axis. Designed specifically for monitor mounts, the vTilt is available with an industry standard VESA pattern and in two different torque profiles.
Choose differential torque for smaller, lighter monitors. Differential torque offers 60% of the nominal torque in the upward direction, making it easier to lift the monitor in the up direction while providing full torque in the downward direction to securely hold the monitor in position with no sagging or drooping over time.
For larger, heavier monitor mounts, choose a vTilt configuration with one-way torque which eliminates virtually all the torque in the up direction, making it much easier to lift heavier monitors in to position because you are not lifting and working against the torque in the vTilt. One-way toque provides an easy to lift solution for heavier monitors.
With its unique torque profiles in a small, streamlined package Reell monitor specific solutions differ from other monitor mounts on the market in three primary ways. First, Reell solutions feel better. With no wind up and precise positioning, the user can easily place the monitor exactly where needed with no breakaway friction or spring back. Second, Reell vTilts require no adjustments over time compared to bolt and washer or friction disc solutions. This means the user will not find a monitor that sags over time, or need to reach behind the monitor and tighten a bolt or screw to dial the torque back in. Third, Reell monitor mounts improves the user experience by providing a premium feel, precise positioning and eliminating the need for adjustments for the life of the product, from the first adjustment to its last.
Reell torque inserts, such as the TI300 series provide ideal solutions for the joints of articulating arms. By varying the torque in each joint, designers can sequence the folding motion of the arm, and once in position, the arm stays in position due to the reliable torque and secure positioning of Reell’s torque inserts.
Finally, not all screens are separate computer monitors. Reell torque inserts, such as the TI100 series easily press into rotating joints for smaller and lighter screen applications such as laptop stands, phone holders, and tablet devices. These compact torque inserts allow for a hidden torque element, easily enclosed in the design to create effortless adjustability with a smooth premium feel that end user respond to.
