Patent confirms Reell's unique technology and product performance

Saint Paul, MN (PRWEB) March 31, 2015

Reell Precision Manufacturing, a world leader in small package position control, has been issued US patent 8,875,348 for the technology used in its innovative TI-300 Series Torque Inserts.

TI-300 Torque Inserts provide consistent reliable positioning in a compact modular package. They are designed to be press-fit into round holes for quick and easy installation in just one step, eliminating the need for mounting hardware, reducing the overall cost of customer solutions, and enhancing cosmetics by removing the visible appearance of a hinge. Mounting profile options include exposed knurled shaft end, a knurled zinc adapter for installation into plastics, and a One-way adapter.

Available in multiple package sizes the TI-300 Series offers a wide variety of options to meet diverse application needs. Depending on model, torque capabilities range from 0.5 to 5.0 N-m (4.4 to 44.3 lb-in), and it features an industry-best fully qualified life of over 50,000 cycles for long-life premium position control.

Global product line manager John Schannach is pleased with the patent announcement. "The patent validates what we see as a significant new level of performance in the positioning market. The TI-300 Series lets us provide our perfect fit positioning, premium quality motion, and long-life performance in an even wider range of customer applications."

Reell Precision Manufacturing provides high-quality innovative solutions to transmit torque, control angular position and protect delicate components from excessive force. Combining the world's most precisely controlled torque technology with the industry's most experienced engineering team provides a perfect product fit in customer applications. Reell's patented technology is widely used in the consumer electronics, automotive, aircraft interiors, medical technology, workstation furniture, kiosk/data terminal, and architectural lighting industries.
